Michal,

Are you doing the African coffins this year? I have
written up your idea and sent it to many off list...I
am just curious if YOU are doing it? I will eventually
write it up for the site and credit you.
The African (Ghana) Coffins is ideal. They are not
offended in the least if you use Oasis foam. Just look
at all of our discarded materials they use to make
art! I just bought a small work of art yesterday made
by an artist from Kenya using some of our discarded
material (A beatiful hand painted fish on metal). In
Africa - you use what ever material you have available
to make art -- even discarded flip-flops - tires -
telephone wire - misprinted metal labels - you name
it. I guarantee -- there will be no offense taken if
you do a unit on the inventive coffins....I have an
idea to turn them into treasure boxes. Let me know
