Sculpture lesson

I'm looking for a lesson for the blocks of oasis. These are about 2X2X4 inches. Last year I did Tiki statues with my sculpture class and have some students in an art I class would like to use the material again but need some new ideas.
The Tiki sculptures worked nicely as a way of the students reflecting about their own qualities and personalities and then expressing them through sculpture. I was surprised at how many students have a difficult time thinking in the round as opposed to carving relief into four sides.
