"Crossing the Digital Divide" to be held onJan 24 in
Westbrook/ Walnut Grove, MN. and Jan. 31 in Northfield, MN..
We are
short of registrations, so if you have any interest please
sign up so we don't have to cancel! Cost is
$35.00, but it will be the best money you've ever spent!

Nancy Norwood is our instructor. This is an intro workshop
on digital still photography and digital video. The idea
is to offer a "hands-on" experience so that teachers that
know little or nothing about Media Arts can learn some
basics about the equipment and software you will need to
get started. Nancy will share some of her curriculum and
layout her program for participants. Nancy will show you
ways to align your Media
Arts Curriculum to the new Media Arts Standards.

This workshop would be excellent for k-12 teachers,
artists, and college
students.

The registration form is on our website at
http://www.pcae.k12.mn.us
When you get to our site, click on PDI, then on Programs,
then on
"Crossing the Digital Divide Workshops."

You must be a member of AEM to participate in the Capitol
Art Show; any art teacher, grades 5-9, may enter 2 works
in the Middle School.

Registration information for both events is now up on the
