(Still a hot topic on Getty list)

Dear Art Educators,

I had some words of wisdom to post on this "animals on
pararde" topic...but it has left my mind and another
popped in. Molly Carpenter just sent me her Mardi Gras
Show announcemnt and I clicked on her link. She has
many stone cast animal heads. If this is something you
want to tackle with your students - they could make
ceramic animal heads and decorate them. They would be
somewhat weather proof. Check out Molly's animal head
sculpture - LOTS more to see on her site, too.

I "met' Molly on Getty list - I don't know if she is
still a member.

Here is her FUN announcement - for all in New Jersey
or close by:

A Celebration of the Mardi Gras
Artist Dana Gayner and Molly Carpenter
Opening Reception at Gallery 50
February 6
50 East Commerce St. Bridgeton, NJ
A Collection of hats, masks and fun frivolities.
Through the end of February.
For more information call:
(856) 935-5213 or (856) 935-7934

If you are in the neighborhood - stop by.

I will be putting this on Art News soon on IAD.

Judith
