To all who want to install some anti SpyWare software
and still view Linda Wood's site.
I got a wonderful reply back from Lance (and so did
Linda). I am going to give you the short of it. He
actually ran all sorts of tests - on two machines.
"So the end result of all this testing would be that
you should have no problems installing Zone
Alarm, Pest Patrol, Adaware, or Spybot. However, it
appears that Spyware Blaster is the "culprit", so
don't install that if you want to continue viewing the
art work on that site."
Basically - all of the ones we mentioned on the list
work - except Spyware Blaster - that ones blocks her
gallery and you can not "turn it off". I just thought
more should benefit from his "words of wisdom"... I
hve my own Lance folder on my machine now. Since matt
is off to school - I now have a new "Tech Wizard" --
all the way from Australia. Lance does recommend
SpyBot over Ad-aware - so I'll be checking that out.
Folks any time you have a PC software problem and the
list can't help - I know who can. It may take a day or
two.
