only 45 min. once a week at the elementary level (not including Mon. and
Fri. when we have the most vacation days). If I want to dedicate the time
necessary for my students to do contest worthy work, we wouldn't have the
time for much else. I also need to collect two great works from each
student for our annual art show. There is not enough time. I've often
thought about having a poster art club, or contest art club, but there is no
time in my schedule. I used to post all contests outside my door, but
students weren't interested unless I gave them class time. It's all about
time. Also, if contests sent back work that didn't win, I'd be happier.
However, I know that would probably cost too much.
