Rachel was looking for dolls ideas... I LOVE dolls!
Doll making is a great art form (in my book - I know
many call it craft - but I have one doll that is a
real work of art - and galleries call her work "Art"
too). I am always happy to help someone who teaches
doll making.
Rachel I don't know what you had in mind...but take a
look at Widow Bryant's "dolls". Start with this
portrait doll of our dear Samantha (here she is
without the grins and giggles)

(This is Smantha has the "Poenix Bird" - her email
address)
Dorothy Kane sent me Jill Hamilton a while back -
Fun! A Michigan dollmaker:

I guarantee you'll fall in love with Maximillin
(that's him on her home page)- he is not for sale - I
checked already. Most of her dolls are not for sale -
they are her "children" (smile)
....So Rachel - you have to turn your kids onto doll
making so one of them will one day make a Maximillion
"look a like" for me to buy (smile).
For some "how tos" on how you might do Sculpy dolls
(with wire) - check Sharon Kennedy's web site (it
comes up in seach engines if you can't find her link
on my site - ARTrageous).
Rachel - if you need more help from me - just email
Jdecker@woh.rr.com
I can give you corn husk doll and apple head doll
links.
