We just did the tessellation's a few weeks ago.
Make sure the Rhombus (2 equilateral triangles)
you provide them are perfect. Lately I have
given my students a larger Rhombus (2 equilateral triangles)
on ledger size paper (11 x 17) to create their original
drawings on. They finish the original with a black
sharpie marker. When they finish, I make the 12
copies reduced to letter size (8.5 x 11). They are
able to get more detail into the the larger format.
