I have a wonderful Autistic 8th grader that needs some
new projects to do in my class. I pretty much have to
stick with 2D projects because she can't stand to get
dirty- so, there goes clay!
She is busy painting landscapes right now and getting
ready for her next project... but after 3 years of
teaching her... I am at a loss for what to do. She is
bright and engaging and I want her to create some fun
things. SHe is not able to fold paper very well (has a
thing with her hands) but fully able to comprehend
what I ask of her. SO... those of you who have
mainstreamed kids, what are some pojects that you
create with your students?
Looking forward to what you have to share with me.
