Try a heavyweight Pellon or other non-fusible interfacing which you can
find at the fabric store. This is also what we use as support when
"washing" discolored antique papers. For the heavy plastic grid, I
recommend the lighting grids that you can get at any good harware store
- like what you see above you in an elevator.
