Most new laptops are set up for this. The main thing is to have
a S-Video connection, and they also make adapters if you do not.
 I have both Mac Powerbook Bronze keyboard and iBooks. I use
them weekly for hookup to either tv or lcd projector. This
might be something you ask your department head, district, etc.
If they can do a staff development on hooking up for projection
to tv or lcd from computers. You can also do this from some
desktops but I have not worked on desktops in 3 years.
