artificial rocks

I made "rocks" with an after school group by having them wad up newspaper,
wrap to shape with tape, then cover with three layers of pariscraft. They
were able to paint them that day (as soon as the plaster set). We used a
base coat of gray and then sponged on black and white which mixed to various
shades of gray. They looked great, were very easy and not too much trouble!
