using technology to project images from the web

The computer specialist in the building taught me to copy images from the
web and paste them to an Appleworks slide show. I would then be able to use
a projector attached to my computer to show the images on a screen.
However, three images took 3MB of space on my hard drive.

She suggests I wait until the dept. gives me a more powerful computer. I
want to do something NOW.

I'd love it if someone were willing to give me a few sentences about how
they do this stuff. Then I'd know where to look on the digest for more
info. Thank you. Jeannie in PA
