Am I being too critical in expecting to be contacted about whether my students won
awards or not? How do the teachers in Kansas find out? Or to have a "pick up work
this day" on the paperwork? Or at least one phone call returned? This was my first
year to enter, in middle school, and I expected better. It is run by a University
art ed office who uses it to promote their own graduates (see how many scholastic
awards are won by our graduate art students) and their "program".
