I really want to discuss this with my students today since we've had some
time to distance ourselves from this tragedy. I also want to show them
images images of Miro's piece and Calder's Bent Propeller but I can't find
them. I've done several searches including artcyclopedia. Does anyone know
of where I can find these images?

The loss of that Miro was on my mind too, on Sept 11.
It was beautiful! The only time I was in the towers
was when I bought a broadway ticket in '99. I am proud
to say that I got a chance to experience architecture
which has now become part of US history.
Still gives me chills when I picture what it looked
like from the inside, with that huge Miro. Now I wish
I would have paid that little bit of money which
seemed like a lot at the time, to ride to the top.
