THanks all who responded to my sandcastles question. I actually was
thinking of another list where the teacher did 300 of them.
THe answer was 100 boxes of cornstarch 300 lbs of sand. She also said to
mix sand and cornstarch well before adding water and cooking, and that she
also used sand molds sprayed with a little PAM>
I have shells and flags etc to add to them.
I will be doing this with my son's school. I'll let you know how it goes.
I'm sure the janitors are going to LOVE me. Actually I am building a big
sand box to do this in so hopefully it won't be too bad.
