This brought to mind a project one of my kids did a few years ago when I had
a bunch of construction (insulation) styrofoam. We cut shapes and a base and
glued them (with Elmer's I think) and then applied plaster to the outside to
create a sculpture. It made a great base-fairly light weight but stable.
