Besides the lose of life, I still think about that absolutely magnificent,
huge, bright and beautiful Miro tapestry wall hanging that used to hang in
the lobby of Tower Two. Any of you who went to the conference last year in
NY, and also to the observatory at the World Trade Center, or to get tickets
at the ticket booth at the WTC, might remember seeing it. What a waste- 70
million $$$ worth of art destroyed- still also mourning that!

Hello! yes, I understand from a tapestry list I am on, that the government of
Spain has commissioned a duplication of the tapestry. One of the interesting
things about tapestry is that it is replicable and still considered an
original....I think the Calder should not be restored, but maintained in it's
present condition. The history of an object is often very interesting, and
how that history shows....Jan M.
