great day

I tried something today for the first time, why I haven't before who
knows. I took my mac laptop, hooked up a Pablo drawing slate to it, used
Color It! 4.0, hooked laptop to an LCD projector, and taught a 1pt
perspective lesson on a large 8ft screen in class. WOW, it was great not
having my back to the students, able to sit down with drawing slate in my
lap, instead of stand at overhead projector that gets hot. When I need to
erase, I didn't find myself with colored fingers from the markers used for
tranparencies, instead, I chose that little eraser tool and did away with
what I didn't want. Then I saved it for the next day with on smudges on
the screen. Gee, it made for a great day, and lesson also. Now for
someone who is really into learning and using this stuff, why haven't I
done this before. By the way, an LCD projector is the only thing I do
not have in my room to keep but working on that one.
