Thanks for the reminder - I had filed the book away and finally found it =
(two weeks after using it! *L*). The title is "Values of Adinkra =
Symbols" by Adolph H. Agbo Published by: Ebony Designs and =
Publications, Independence Hall, UST. Kumasi, Ghana =20

I purchased my copy at our state conference from a woman who had =
recently visited Africa. I don't know if or how hard it would be to =
purchase your own copy. Here is the "poem" titled Love:=20

Love is faithfulness
Love is understanding and mutual agreement
Love is friendship and interdependence
Love comes from God, therefore no one can break it apart.

This is based upon 4 symbols, with their meanings broken down to create =
this poem. It was a great experience seeing what the students came up =
with in their interpretation of the symbols!
~Michal

Finally read your post about the poetry and symbols..what was the book =
you used?=20
Thanks for your help!=20
