I believe in the 7 intelligences wholeheartedly. I for one am directionally
challenged. I have NO idea which way is north after I leave my house! I rely
solely on landmarks to find my way around. Yet my son could navigate me
around the city when he was only 4. I also cannot read music, although I
tried many times. I can, however, take a computer apart (self-taught) and
put it back together with no problem. I can draw, paint, sculpt, etc. Why
should artistic skills be thought of differently than any other? I
appreciate those who can achieve what I cannot, knowing that I have my own
strengths. :-)
