Jayna- What a great idea....in New York (or at least on Long Island) they add
on days we loose for snow at the end of the year. Usually we end school in
the 3rd or 4th week of June. So, conceivably, school could go on until July.
Conducting school in a warm classroom on a frigid day in January sure beats
an unairconditioned classroom on an unbearably hot day in July!
BTW, I love those unexpected snow days. So much fun....stuck in with my
paint and my canvas...sigh...hope we get a snow day soon.
