It's funny how things are connected - we are starting a unit on automata in
my classes - some are entering the unit looking at 'recycled - re-seen' and
how we can create using discarded items. My 5th grade was adding to the
discussion when one girl said that on the TV show "Clueless" a girl had a
dress made out of CDs - which made me think of the last post that mentioned
drilling holes in them... with drilled holes you could connect them like
Granny Squares with wire or rings.... bags, dresses, skirts, ties,
belts.....
