Broudy is Dr. Harry Broudy. He worked on DBAE in the very very beginning and
also has written much about aesthetic education. aesthetic literacy,
aesthetic scanning and how important it is to be able to understand and
interpret imagery in our society. Some say that his philosphy is that there
is no art education, only aesthetic education. (I am not saying I say that,
I am saying that is the way some interpret his writings.) He did a wonderful
video lecture on the 5 aspects of visual literacy(it has been a while since I
saw this...hope that is right!) and is a wonderful art ed advocate. He is
retired now.....sorry...this what I remember in a nutshell. Hope this helps
some...and that I have not gotten my p's and q's confused!
