I posted 2 questions as a test to the list, ceramics and power point, and
the response has been swift, informative and useful. At last I have found a
newsgroup worthy of the time to download.

I have been using a Binary News Assistant program to no avail as well as
some highly recommended "teacher chats". By comparison, they have been
silly, sophmoric and a waste of time; I am fortunate to have found this. I
am looking forward to learning more about the Internet and all the ideas
    offered by this list.

I hesitate to use my name in an e-mail program as I have heard horror
stories about hackers, crackers and spam. Althought the words seem odd to
me, it is enough to scare me for the time being. I am still learning about
this stuff and my tutor will help me check all this next week.

I will investigate local ceramic dealers as well as the college I attended
(nothing like a chat session with a former professor). As for Power Point,
I will click around and test the movie option as suggested.

For the member going to Paris...Try to speak their language, they find that
endearing, especially when you botch things. They will be eager to help.
By the way, traffic is NUTS there...like that's news
    OuterFringe
and eastcoast division serving kids 9-12 whether they like it or not!
