"Mind Mapping" was mentioned as a possible help for the student who has
trouble with reading retention. Mindmapping was enthusiastically recommended
to me by someone who had also attended a workshop. I just wanted to add that
if workshops aren't available, there are quite a few books that explain the
process clearly. I had to choose among several at our Barnes & Noble here.
The one I have is written by Joyce Wycoff, and is called "Mindmapping, Your
Personal Guide to Exploring Creativity and Problem-Solving". ISBN:
