    As for water based oil paints....They are safer
    because your not inhaling turps, linseed oil and
    varnish but it really depends on the pigment. The
    toxic paints are toxic whether they have an oil binder
    or a water based binder. Check out the labels and
    look for the "AP" logo which lets you know it's non
    toxic.
