DAY OF ART

    At my son's elementary school they will be having a craft day. This is where
    the whole school comes in to the gym at some point during the day and goes
    around to various stations and does a craft. Generally the kids love this
    treat. It was canceled this year due to lack of volunteer coordinators, but
    alas, I have agreed to pick this up and get it going again for a day in
    March. I have some ideas but looking for other simple craft projects that
    are somewhat "different." I want it to really be a change of pace for the
    kids something that will WOW them, and help those who are not that interested
    in art to have a taste of something that they may never have been able to do
    in the usual art room...and want to do more. Any ideas would be appreciated.
