Yes, all tesserae became community property. You'll have some kids who are happier
making the pieces while some are happier designing.

I had a great PTO parent who took 4x4 foot pieces of 1/2 inch plywood and framed them
with molding. Not hard, really. I used full strength Elmer's to adhere, and then
grout you buy at the hardware store. Sax has all the stuff, as well. I know some
use contact cement, but I have a problem with the fumes. I found the Elmer's was
just fine, laid on fairly thick. You can also add other materials like glass globs,
pieces of broken china, stones, glass,etc. Just try to keep all the pieces fairly
even in height. It is hard to grout extreme differences in height because the low
pieces get covered over.
