From what I gather, what he needs to do is to exercise his hands. I
guess with scar tissue, the only way to get rid of it is to have the blood
circulate through the area. Besides the fact that it is painful for him and
a bother, his family is low-income so I highly doubt he is getting the
appropiate medical attention he needs. (And maybe even needed at the time of
the fire.) Makes me feel fortunate for not having to go through that.
