I'm getting so excited just reading all of these posts about the NAEA! The
advice about all the handouts and freebies is correct!! Just remember all
that paper gets very heavy.
Just wondering if anyone out there on the listserve is involved at the
level of NAEA that could consider consolidating all the handouts for the
workshops, etc. into one book that could be sold at the convention--or be
included in the registration price. Perhaps if presenters mailed in their
handouts ahead of time and these were assembled, it would alleviate some of
the pushing and tugging that goes on at some of the sessions just to get a
handout. There might even be a profit to be made if the price were
right!!!! At the Art Forum at SCAD in Savannah each summer this is done,
and we each leave with a wonderful looseleaf notebook full of new lessons
that each person attending has submitted on checkin at the beginning of the
week.
Any possibilities?
