Or is this required for certain grade levels? I'm not trying to be
negative, I'm just confused as I am certified in art k-12, I did have a
certification in special Ed reading. I was not certified to be a classroom
teacher. But, then again, I graduated 20 years ago! Is it different for new
graduates?

In my district it is, music teachers too.
I have a regular classroom multiple subjects credential, K-8, and an art Ed
credential K-12 to adult.
