So sorry that it took so long for a reply- I'm working on a mural here in
Houston.(Monet-Impresionalism- style- Big, very very Big) With One block I
usually get about five "pure" sculptures- but that means not useing any
alterantive form to have the clay support itself- but these are very small-
I use them for modeleing with my Jewelry making course. It depends on how
big you wish to allow the students to work- My suggestion would be to tell
them to go Purchase a small block of it at Walmart, and let them choose the
color. Then all you have to deal with is the limits of thier imagination-
and sculpey isn't that expensive- They can pick up a pack for about .97-
depending on where you go.
