When time is limited or I'm low on glazes at the end of the year, I do use tempera paint on bisque ware. To finish them off so that they have the "More Appealing" shiney finish -I use Future Floor polish. It is cheap and can be picked up at WalMart. The only draw back is the students have to make sure that they dont rub it in. The colors blend. Just put it on and leave it!
