I have a class now which I am very concerned about. It is one of my new
groups and they are seventh graders. Most of them never had art and think
art class is recess. Besides the frustration of dealing with those opinions,
I think maybe the curiculum I set up for them will not be beneficial for
them. So many skills are lacking in at least half of the half. The other
half is pretty much on target.
Does anyone have any ideas for a seventh grade class who has never had
art? The projects can't be too elementry because I don't want the students
    to feel patronized.
It is a big change for me because last semester's classes all had me
last year. This semester have never had me. It is quite a shock for them
    (and me).
