    Hi All,

I have two Epson printers at home; a stylus color 400 and an old
action laser 1500. I have found both of these printers to be very
reliable and trouble-free. At school I have an HP color inkjet
printer. It has given me tons of trouble; constant spool errors (I've
reloaded the driver many times!) needing frequent cleanings , a
hard-to-load paper tray, software conflicts with iomega zip disks
etc. I much prefer Epsons at this point!

As for cartridges - I now buy them on eBay at a great savings!
There are some venders who are selling new non-brand cartridges
in big quantities; so it isn't really an auction with a bidding war
going on. The last batch I bought cost around $5 for black and
about $8 for color! Since I bought more than five of each, shipping
was free. I haven't noticed any difference between these and the
regular very expensive brand name cartridges!
