Rugmaking examples and history

    So far so good, student teaching has been absolutely great this week! I am
    already learning so much - what an incredible time this will be.

    I'm teaching a lesson next week for 5th grade on rugmaking and am looking
    for some artists names or background info. I'm going to do some research
    via the web and several books I have that I know at least touch on the
    subject, but if anyone has any info that might be helpful, please let me
    know. This is a group of students that need challenge and all have
    experience with stitching and weaving so I decided to take it to a
    different level.
