Art Standards Question

    Dear Artees:
    It's Standards review time at our school and I was just given a set of Art
    Standards to see how my curriculum matches up. They are from Ten Sigma.
    This isn't a problem. But, one part in the drawing standards states
    "Understand/demonstrate the following skills and techniques of drawing:
    a)Crosshatch b) Pointillism c)lost and found, glazing and rubbing d)blending
    and e)Gradation.
    Can someone explain "lost and found" I've been drawing for 30 years and I'm
    not familiar with this term/technique. Is it known as something else?
