I found my original tax for teachers answers in a book published
by the NEA (the union not the endowment) it really helped me.
I haven't sent for it in years, but I suggest it is a good place to
begin finding out what you can deduct. It's good to know that the
farther away the grad course the more travel miles you rack up.
I deduct almost all school and painting miles except the daily to
and from school. Do you drive back at night to turn up the kiln,
then deduct it. Deduct your NAEA dues and that subscription to
the watercolor mags, etc, etc.
