    We usually tape the edges of our metal to a piece of cardboard ( leftover
    boxes, cut up) it works well. It is also nice to have a few scraps of the
    metal for students to experiment on before working on their own final work.
    Make sure students plan what they want to emboss BEFORE they actually start.
