    naea CONVENTION PRESENTER POLICY ADOPTED

    DENVER, CO (September 10, 1999) ó The NAEA Board of Directors adopted
    a convention policy that individuals may not be accepted for more that
    two presentations at the annual convention with the exception of
    business meetings, official division or region functions, or at the
    invitation of the convention coordinator.

    This year nearly 1,300 convention proposals were submitted and about
    600 will be accepted. NAEA usually schedules approximately 800
    sessions and events ó including 200 business meetings and forums, meal
    functions, special workshops, and offsite events. The policy was
    adopted to assure a more equitable distribution of member presenters.
