It was very disappointing, I can tell you. I really believe that a charter school, if done the way it's presented, can work. This particular company, however, is more interested in furthering their right wing religious agenda. :(

I agree. I especially think that a charter school with an arts focus would be a great thing. Here in NC, the state has limited to 100 charters. Several schools have been in trouble for mismanagement of funds and I can't remember if they lost their charters or not.

None, now. Waiting. Looking. Talked to a woman in personnel at the local B of E yesterday, and of all things they want to use my art certification to get me a provisional license to teach something else! ie: they don't want me as an art teacher. I can't imagine what else I'd want to teach tho.....
