    Thanks for your inquiry. There are several reasons for the delays.
    First,
    we
    had more submissions than before and more to process; the Board
    extended the
    deadline another 30 days for submission thus moving the process back;
    we
    updated the scheduling software and had glitches in it; and we got the
    last
    accepted proposals in December. None of these alone would create a
    serious
    delay, but compounded with our growing volume it has delayed the
    Newsletter
    and acceptance letters.

    The special edition of the Newsletter was mailed last Monday and the
    acceptance letters are being mailed this week, which is the same time
    we use
    to place in the Journal.
