    Maybe not so famous for his pen and ink drawings, but I love Van Gogh's. I
    picked up a book of them at the VG museum in Amsterdam years ago. I use them to
    show the students all the different strokes that can be used to help
    differentiate one object from another.

    Claudia Nice's books are really good for technique. She uses Rapidographs, but
    that doesn't matter if you're using a dip pen.
