I LOVE Miro! One lesson I've done is to have students sponge paint in
colors for a background (you could also do wet-in-wet watercolor). When
this is dry, after discussing his use of lines/shapes, students used
various objects to paint their shapes/lines using black paint. They
used Q-tips, string, etc. It sounds weird, but they turned out really
great, esp when I displayed them along with my giant prints from a Miro
calendar. I did this with K's but it could be any level and they would
be successful.
