Try to find the old book Weaving Without a Loom by Sarita R. Rainey. It
has lots of good tips. You can weave round fairly easily with any round
form warped with an odd number of threads. Metal hoops or pizza cardboards
work. You can also weave around a box, like a Quaker Oats box. You can
really warp anything, but you need to stick with a odd number to
threads. Try unusual materials. I have a great weaving done with
translucent glittery ribbons with some feather embellishments. Good luck!
