Some advice about politics for a student teacher needed, please

    I am starting to student teach this semester, but I have some questions
    about politics once i get a job. I am a member of a nuclear abolition
    activist group. I travel all over the state and give speeches about
    nuclear abolition and conflict resolution. I have been warned by some
    professors that i cannot continue giving lectures that are frankly against
    many of the U.S's foriegn policies. Have any of you heard of such
    situations? Do you have any advice?
