    For those of you who, like me, love to travel but aren't quite ready to uproot
    our lives and live there, you can earn professional growth credit by
    developing lessons based on your travel through UC Santa Barbara or U of the
    Pacific in Stockton, CA. I did this with trips to Turkey, Greece, and
    Ecuador, got my professional growth credits, AND was able to write off a
    substantial amount of the travel expenses because they were related to
    professional development.
