    Jill, I've received several grants that integrate science and art,
    including one for making ceramic pots and planting seeds. Called it
    "Science, Sentences and Ceramics." Worked with 5 first grade classroom
    teachers to integrate science, writing, and art. Quite successful and
    certainly not boring. ann in nc
