I have just joined this list and find it confusing to use at first. How
does one view the current month's messages instead of archives? Assuming I
can find this out, I could use some advice on how to study for the Praxis II
art tests (all except art education, which my state doesn't require). There
are just a few sample questions and they seem obscure and difficult. I
haven't studied art history for 20 years and that is what the tests are
largely composed of, yet there is no study guide! Does anyone have some
suggestions? I'm signed up for the March tests.
     Thanks for any advice!

There is a Praxis Series Web site at www.ets.org/praxis
There is a Praxis Tests at a Glance booklet called Art, Music, and Theater.
I didn't have this when I took the Praxis II, nor had I taken all of my Art
Classes (printmaking, ceramics only 1 art history and only 1 ed. class). I
passed it the 1st. time. There was a mixup and I should just now be taking
it. In my test there was a lot of printmaking and ceramic questions, also Art
History. We recently talked about this so you can find it in the archives. I
would try December. If you want, you can
    e-mail me at janjarreau
